Large size Motorcycle Luggage on a Harley V-Rod

The medium-large bag (11 x 19 overall size) is the same diameter as the medium bag but four inches wider. It holds 27% more. (below) This bag is the same width as the XL, but two inches less in diameter.

Notice how the rider chose not to use the lumbar roll in this set up. You have many options with the pads and roll depending on your personal preference.

He also chose to use the bungee around the shock mounts because of the sissy bar. Had he no sissy bar, he could use the provided nylon straps.
