| Screw the docking plate (top left) into the trailer or truck bed using the two outside holes and the included bolts, washers and nuts. In the above right picture you are looking at the bottom of the Pit-Stop. Notice the two round protrusions. These slide into the two slots in the docking plate. The picture (below left) shows the bottom of the unit and how the Pit-Stop slides into the docking plate. In the picture (below right) you see the top view of the Pit-Stop. Notice the center hole. This center hole aligns with the center hole in the docking plate (top left). After sliding the Pit-Stop into the docking plate, a wing nut goes in this center hole to help secure the Pit-Stop to the docking plate. (detailed instructions come with the kit-takes approx 20 min) Tie downs are still recommended. | |
